Draftsman

Role & responsibilities

• Implementing detailed drafting of all civil, mechanical & electrical work of Ground-mounted projects.
• Must have knowledge and experience in collaborating with the design and production teams on various design projects, using in-depth knowledge of the latest design trends and engineering software to lead the way.
• Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation engineers.
• Preparation of Plant layout, Site plan Lightning layout, Earthing layout, Single line diagram, Cable trench/tray layout, CCTV layout, Equipment room layout and AS-BUILT drawings.
• Preparation of shadow analysis layout using PV Case software.
• Must have knowledge and experience in estimation of cable schedule using PV Case software, Automated Lisp and Revit Dynamo.
• Preparing Preliminary plant layout, Single line diagram and Equipment room for Basic and detail engineering for construction.
• Preparing estimation of Cable schedule, Lightning arrestor, earthing, Cable trench/tray, CCTV for costing and tendering.
• Preparing and reviewing rough sketches and reviewing them along with the engineering team; identifying potential operational issues and redesigning products to improve functionality.
• Ensure equipment and systems are designed in accordance with the current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, together with best practices.

• Self-starter with ability to work with commitment and accuracy under pressure with a high degree of self-motivation, while always operating as a team player.
• Experience with industry specific software such as PVCase, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Civil 3D
