Role Summary DoctosTheFamily is a physiotherapy-led, family-focused healthcare service provider. This Calling & Patient Success Intern will handle patient communication, appointment support, and care coordination. Success in this role means delivering clear and empathetic conversations in English, maintaining accurate follow-ups, and ensuring patients feel guided and supported at every touchpoint. Internship Type: Paid Internship (Monthly stipend – can be discussed during interview) What Success Looks Like A successful intern will: Communicate confidently in English on calls, messages, and patient follow-ups Improve appointment conversions and reduce missed follow-ups Maintain clean, organised call logs and patient status updates Help the clinical team focus more on treatments by managing patient coordination smoothly How This Role Fits in the Organisation This role sits at the centre of patient workflows — bridging communication between patients, physiotherapists, and internal clinical operations. It directly impacts patient trust, scheduling efficiency, and service delivery quality, and supports the organisation’s mission of delivering stress-free, family wellness and rehabilitation care. Responsibilities Handle patient calls in English, explain physiotherapy services in simple terms, and guide them to book or confirm appointments Maintain call and follow-up records to track patient status (booked, pending, follow-up required, completed) Coordinate appointments between patients and the physio/clinical team based on availability Send timely reminders via call or message to reduce no-shows Escalate medical concerns or complex queries to the clinical team Communicate in a warm, respectful, and inclusive manner with all patients Qualifications Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; confident on phone calls Education: Any undergraduate degree or current student; background in healthcare/physiotherapy/biology is a plus Experience: Prior experience in clinics, calling, customer support, or healthcare is preferred but not mandatory Other: Comfortable using basic tools (Google Sheets/Excel, WhatsApp, phone calling apps)
