Position: Industrial / Factory Medical Officer (MBBS)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line medical care, emergency response, and treatment for factory employees on-site.
  
• Conduct regular health check-ups (periodic and pre-employment) and maintain up-to-date medical records.
  
• Administer first aid, manage minor ailments, and refer serious cases to external hospitals.
  
• Develop and lead workplace wellness programs (e.g., hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle modification).
  
• Conduct risk assessments related to occupational health hazards and collaborate with safety teams.
  
• Support investigation of workplace injuries or incidents, prepare medical reports, and liaise with HR/management.
  
• Train staff in basic life support and emergency evacuation procedures.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in occupational health and safety.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and abide by Medical Council of India/Tamil Nadu Medical Council regulations.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS degree with current registration from the Medical Council of India (or TNMC).
  
• Certified training in AFIH (Associate Fellow in Industrial Health) or equivalent occupational health qualification is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with Indian occupational health laws and factory safety norms.
  
• Proficiency in Tamil and English for effective communication with employees and authorities.
