Job Title : Deputy Regional Manager - OTC Division Company : DKT Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. Department : Sales - OTC Division Position Type : Full-Time, Permanent Reports to : Regional Sales Manager - OTC Division Travel Requirement : ~80% Team Reporting : Area Sales Managers (ASMs), who in turn manage Sales Representatives Position Summary The Deputy Regional Manager (DRM) leads sales operations in a defined territory under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager. Responsible for implementing field strategies, managing distribution networks, and driving sales growth, the DRM manages a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and field sales staff to ensure product visibility, availability, and performance in the OTC division. We are currently hiring for one DRM position in Gujarat: Base Location : Ahmedabad Coverage : Entire Gujarat Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Territory Management Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned cluster. Optimize distributor and retail coverage for the full product basket. Monitor product availability and visibility across chemist and NTO channels. Team Development & Supervision Manage and coach Area Sales Managers and their field teams. Conduct fieldwork, reviews, and capacity-building initiatives. Set performance benchmarks and monitor KPIs consistently. Market Penetration & Strategic Input Execute demand generation activities in collaboration with marketing. Provide regular insights on competitor activity, consumer trends and retail dynamics. Recommend improvements in route-to-market and retail promotions. Compliance, Reporting & Distribution Oversight Ensure SOP compliance, field discipline, and ethical sales practices. Submit accurate sales reports, market feedback, and forecasts. Manage distributor accounts, collections, and working capital performance. Qualifications & Experience Any Graduate. Overall 10 years experience in Pharma OTC sales with a minimum of 3 years as a second-line manager. Previous work experience in the geographies to be covered and local language is essential. Desired Skills Strong team leadership and communication. Field orientation with high mobility. Data-driven and analytical thinking. Strategic mindset with operational discipline.
