You are a skilled and motivated Solar Design Engineer & Asset Manager sought to join the team at MinusCO2 Energy, a premier rooftop solar company catering to residential and commercial clients in Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik. Your role involves engineering design of rooftop solar PV systems and overseeing the performance of commissioned assets to ensure optimal energy generation and system uptime. Your responsibilities will include conducting rooftop site assessments, analyzing load profiles, designing rooftop solar PV systems (1500 kW), preparing technical drawings, SLDs, and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety codes and guidelines, supporting permitting processes, and managing net metering and approval processes. In terms of Asset Management, you will be responsible for monitoring operational solar plants, analyzing system performance data, troubleshooting issues, coordinating field service, maintaining detailed records of plant performance and maintenance history, managing preventive and corrective maintenance, and preparing reports for internal stakeholders and investors. To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering with at least 2-4 years of experience in solar system design and/or asset management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Excel is required, while experience with SCADA/monitoring tools is preferred. A strong understanding of grid-tied solar PV systems, regulatory compliance, and willingness to travel for site visits and audits are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with Rooftop Grid Connected systems, lithium-ion battery storage, and hybrid solar systems, familiarity with rooftop solar CAPEX/OPEX models and financial metrics, as well as excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.,
