Job Description

As the Lead Piping Engineer at the India office, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all piping activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the local engineering team to ensure projects meet international standards, local regulations, deadlines, budgets, and quality and safety requirements. - Managing team to lead, motivate, and develop the local piping engineering and technical team. - Overseeing piping design, engineering, and procurement while ensuring compliance with standards such as ASME and IS codes. - Ensuring adherence to local and international codes and keeping the team updated on regulatory changes. - Collaborating with global teams and clients to facilitate effective communication. - Monitoring project budgets and timelines to address deviations promptly. - Specifying piping materials and components based on project requirements and industry standards. - Managing day-to-day operations and short- and long-term objectives of the IIEPL Piping department. - Controlling IIEPL Piping cost, schedule, and budget, and further developing and strengthening the Piping department to meet business objectives. - Planning workload and allocating resources to Incico jobs in Italy, the Middle East, and local Indian jobs. - Integrating Incico work processes and department procedures in IIEPL Piping successfully. - Reviewing and approving key piping deliverables, ensuring quality control and technical accuracy of all deliverables. - Following up and verifying engineering documentation and drawings, analyzing client plot plans, design basis, and technical specifications. - Conducting performance reviews, supporting staff development and training needs, and running a Skill Development Program in the IIEPL Piping Discipline. - Sharing lessons learned and best practices from current and past projects, and developing and managing a team of in-house engineers. Your qualifications should include: - BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. - Minimum 20 years of experience in EPC and Detail Design Companies focused on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, or Hydrogen Projects. - At least 10 years of experience as an HOD or Lead Piping Engineer. - Good past experience in working with software such as SP3D, E3D/PDMS, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD. - Fluent in English. - Proactive attitude with knowledge of international codes and standards, extensive knowledge and application of ASME B31.1/B31.3 and EN codes. - Management of piping engineering works subcontracted to third-party engineering agencies.,
