Director, Business Analysis and Technology Services
The Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for the region’s Managed Services portfolio, overseeing delivery excellence, AI-driven change initiatives, and the technical capability development of the service organization. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, innovation and client satisfaction across multiple accounts through proactive governance, automation strategy and continuous service improvement.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Change and transformation leadership
- Lead strategic change initiatives focused on AI enablement, automation and service modernization
- Partner with technical teams to implement AI driven insights into monitoring, service desks, and workflow optimizations
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI/ML tools to enhance service quality and reduce manual effort
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through measurable business outcomes
- Technical Strategy
- Lead multiple globally distributed sprint teams through mentoring and oversight of individual sprint team leaders.
- Set strategic priorities for Application Change Management and Performance Measurement functions aligned with D&A business goals and client outcomes.
- Drive innovation and service expansion, including new data offerings and integration capabilities across hosted and cloud environments.
- Client Engagement & Delivery Management
- Work in partnership with clients and internal BNY organizations to deliver value added solutions and ensure a high degree of quality, usability, and sustainability
- Engage and onboard new clients and the transition of new services into production environments.
- Act as a client advocate by capturing feedback, escalating enhancements and defects to product teams, and ensuring resolution.
- Talent & Team Development
- Build technical depth within the managed services organization – focusing on data analytics and AI operations
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring and structured upskilling programs
- Partner with HR and L&D teams to establish technical career paths and competency frameworks
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting and presentations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate complex data concepts into business terms for executive and partner audiences.
- Work within the overall product vision, key objectives, strategies, sponsorship, and priorities ensure team meets contractual obligations, regulatory changes, and client requirements
- Business Development & Market Intelligence
- Developing the strategic vision for delivering new and enhanced EMS solutions by leveraging upcoming products and services
- Contribute to new business initiatives and represent Managed Services in client meetings, industry forums, and strategic pursuits.
- Analyze competitive trends and industry developments to inform service evolution and strategic positioning.
Preferred candidate profile
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- A minimum of 18 years of experience in management or supervisory role is a must
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills, along with strategic thinking, business acumen, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
- Knowledge into data strategy and management is an essential requirement.
- Deep strategic understanding of AI/ML, proven leadership and change management skills, and strong business acumen to translate technical capabilities into measurable value
