Diploma Engineer

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for developing detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and technical plans for interior projects. You will also assist in 3D modeling and rendering for client presentations. Your role will involve coordinating with designers and architects to ensure designs are feasible and meet client expectations. You will oversee the implementation of designs, ensuring quality and adherence to standards. Regular site visits will be part of your duties to monitor project progress, resolve on-site technical challenges, and ensure timely project completion. You will also liaise with suppliers and vendors to source materials as per project requirements, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Supporting project managers in client meetings to explain technical aspects of the design and incorporating client feedback into designs and project plans will be crucial. You will also be responsible for ensuring projects comply with safety standards and building regulations, as well as maintaining project documentation, including reports, budgets, and schedules. Key skills for this role include proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or other design tools, a strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques, excellent coordination and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and good communication skills for client and team interactions. To qualify for this position, you should have a Diploma in Civil or Interior Design, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in the interior design or construction industry. Familiarity with site execution and vendor coordination will be an added advantage. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including paid sick time.
