Digital Practice Leader

As the Head of App Engineering Practice at Birlasoft Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and leading the development of cutting-edge solutions in the areas of Digital Experience, Cloud & App Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, and Generative AI. Your strategic leadership will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the practice, aligning technology strategies with business objectives and client needs. You will foster a culture of innovation, develop thought leadership, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations. Your responsibilities will include team management, client engagement, practice development, technology oversight, cross-functional collaboration, financial management, and business development. You will lead a diverse team of professionals, drive the adoption of best practices and modern methodologies, provide guidance on technology usage, collaborate with other practice heads and business units, manage the practice budget, and support sales activities through expertise and market expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with over 20 years of experience in application engineering, digital transformation, or a related field. Strong leadership skills, technical proficiency in modern technologies, business acumen, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, problem-solving skills, and decision-making capabilities are essential for success in this position. Preferred qualifications include certifications in relevant technologies, experience with Agile and DevOps practices, and a track record of driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives across multiple industries.
