We are looking for a passionate, analytical and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern who wants to gain practical experience in SEO, performance marketing, paid advertising, website optimisation and digital marketing strategy.

## Role Overview

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the digital marketing team to plan, execute, monitor and optimise digital marketing campaigns.

You will get hands-on exposure to SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, website analytics, keyword research, competitor analysis and lead generation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.

- Assist in on-page and off-page SEO activities.

- Optimise website content, meta titles, meta descriptions and headings.

- Perform basic website SEO audits.

- Research competitor websites and keyword rankings.

- Assist with backlink research and link-building activities.

- Monitor organic traffic and keyword performance.

- Identify opportunities to improve website search visibility.

2. Google Ads & Performance Marketing

- Assist in planning and executing Google Ads campaigns.

- Conduct keyword research for search campaigns.

- Help create ad copies and campaign structures.

- Monitor campaign performance, clicks, impressions and conversions.

- Assist in analysing CPC, CTR, CPA and ROAS.

- Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.

- Prepare campaign performance reports.

3. Meta Ads & Social Media Advertising

- Assist in setting up Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.

- Research target audiences and audience interests.

- Support campaign planning, ad copywriting and creative coordination.

- Monitor campaign budgets and performance.

- Track leads, impressions, reach, clicks and conversions.

- Assist in A/B testing of creatives and audiences.

- Suggest optimisation strategies based on campaign performance.

4. Website & Content Optimisation

- Assist in website content optimisation.

- Identify website improvement opportunities.

- Research relevant topics for blogs and landing pages.

- Support landing page optimisation for lead generation.

- Check website content, links and basic user experience.

- Coordinate with content and website development teams.

5. Analytics & Reporting

- Work with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.

- Monitor website traffic and user behaviour.

- Track campaign performance and lead generation.

- Analyse important digital marketing metrics.

- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.

- Identify areas of improvement through data analysis.

6. Research & Competitor Analysis

- Research competitors' digital marketing strategies.

- Analyse competitor keywords, advertisements and website positioning.

- Identify market trends and digital marketing opportunities.

- Research new tools, platforms and marketing techniques.

- Share actionable recommendations with the team.

Skills & Requirements

- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.

- Knowledge of SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads is preferred.

- Basic understanding of keyword research and website optimisation.

- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is an advantage.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.

- Good written communication skills.

- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or a related field.

- Completed a digital marketing course or certification is an advantage.

- Familiarity with tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar tools.

- Previous internship or practical project experience is an added advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The intern's performance will be evaluated based on:

1. Quality and completion of assigned SEO activities.

2. Keyword research and competitor analysis accuracy.

3. Website optimisation and SEO implementation support.

4. Campaign monitoring and reporting accuracy.

5. Understanding of Google Ads and Meta Ads metrics.

6. Quality of analytical insights and optimisation suggestions.

7. Timely completion of assigned tasks.

8. Contribution to website traffic and lead generation initiatives.
