Digital Marketing Intern

Product and technical knowledge (at a consultative level)

• Rooftop solar basics: on-grid, off-grid and hybrid systems, and when each suits a home
• System sizing from the electricity bill, sanctioned load and roof area
• Components: panels (mono PERC/TOPCon), inverters, mounting structures, batteries, cables and protection devices
• Generation estimates, payback period and ROI, 25-year savings, and degradation and warranty terms
• Shading, roof type and orientation assessment

Subsidy and regulatory knowledge

• PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana: eligibility, subsidy slabs by system size, and how to apply on the national portal
• State-level subsidies and top-ups
• DISCOM net metering and the approval process
• Documents customers need: electricity bill, ID, property proof, bank details
• Rules on approved panels and inverters (ALMM, BIS) for subsidy eligibility
• Awareness of GST rates on solar systems

Finance and bank loan knowledge

• Loan products for rooftop solar from public and private banks, and the collateral and interest norms for subsidised schemes
• EMI calculation and comparing “pay upfront” against “loan plus savings on the bill”
• Documentation, KYC and the loan-to-disbursement process, and working with bank branch managers and NBFCs
• Subsidy credit flow: when the customer pays, when the subsidy is received and who is responsible

Marketing and sales skills

• Lead generation: local campaigns, RWAs/housing societies, builders, architects, channel partners, referrals
• Digital marketing: Google/Meta ads, WhatsApp marketing, local SEO, Google Business Profile, short videos
• Consultative selling, objection handling and closing (for example “will it work on cloudy days?” or “what about maintenance?”)
• Proposal and quotation preparation, and CRM use
• Local-language communication and trust-building
• Customer education events, demos and site-visit coordination
• Post-sale referral and review generation

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
