Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Set up and operate die casting machines to cast metal parts as per production requirements.
Melt and pour metal into molds while ensuring proper temperature and process control.
Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
Inspect castings for surface or dimensional defects and ensure conformance to quality standards.
Remove finished castings from molds, trim excess material, and perform minor finishing operations.
Maintain and clean casting machines, tools, and the work area.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality assurance guidelines.
Assist with die changes, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs when needed

Skills:

Operating and monitoring high-pressure die casting machinery.
Understanding and following production and quality standards.
Troubleshooting process issues and performing basic equipment maintenance.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and good housekeeping practices.

Education & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma Any Graduate (Mechanical or Manufacturing specialization preferred).
Certification or experience in die casting or foundry operations is an added advantage.
