Job Location: Opera House, Mumbai Requirements: At least 3 years work experience in design with a brand in the fine jewellery space Experienced in working with Coloured Stones, Rose Cut & Fancy Shape Diamonds Fluent in English & Hindi Additional Skills: Photoshop CorelDraw Procreate Matrix/Rhino Roles & Responsibilities: Conceptualizing & creating designs that are synonymous with the brands design aesthetic Draw up designs that are in sync with each individual customers tastes and preferences Rendering coloured stones in hand drawn designs (Emerald, Rubies, Sapphires) Preparing presentations of designs according to the requirements of the sales team Record keeping and filing of hand drawn designs and storing relevant data in Excel Based on the design, estimate the stone sizes and metal weight of the item when complete Using social media and other platforms (physical and digital) to analyze current design trends Coordinate with the related departments to ensure final product delivered is in sync with the design drawn The Right person: Interested in pushing boundaries that go beyond the conventional concepts of fine jewellery design Should have good sense of proportion and be able to visualize what the item will look like when completed Received a formal certification from an institute in Jewellery Design Understands the technical aspects of jewellery manufacturing Up to date with all the new & innovative stone setting techniques Young and ambitious with a drive to learn and grow with the organization Interested candidates that meet the above-mentioned requirements can send their CV and portfolio to careers@diamars.com
