Dialysis Technician

The Clinical Specialist position based in Mangalore, Karnataka, requires a male candidate with qualifications in Nursing and Dialysis Technician. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing renal replacement therapy education to patients, both in hospitals and at their homes. It is preferred that you have a two-wheeler for convenient transportation between locations. Your main responsibilities will include conducting initial education sessions for patients on renal replacement therapy, performing flushing at catheter insertion, training patients and caregivers on peritoneal dialysis procedures, and educating them on infection prevention. You will be required to visit patients for follow-ups, assess their compliance with previous instructions, and observe exchange procedures performed by caregivers or patients. Additionally, you will guide patients and caregivers through the entire peritoneal dialysis exchange process, including room setup, handwashing, exit site care, dressing, and the actual exchange. Keeping detailed notes on observations, biochemistry reports, and sharing this information with patients, caregivers, and the clinical team leader will be part of your routine. You will also be involved in planning patient file discussions with doctors and conducting patient programs on fluid management, correct exchange procedures, hand hygiene, room setup, and more.
