DevOps Lead - L1

The purpose of the role is to lead the DevOps team in enhancing coordination among operations, development, and testing functions through automation and streamlining of integration and deployment processes. You will drive technical support to align the team on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications. Additionally, you will design and define the DevOps architecture/framework for project/module delivery as per client requirements. It is essential to decide on the DevOps tools and platforms aligned with customer needs and create a tool deployment model for validation, testing, and monitoring performance. Your responsibilities include managing the IT infrastructure, overseeing the DevOps pipeline supporting the application life cycle, and collaborating with the team to address coding and scripting requirements for software release. Integration of security throughout the dev-ops lifecycle is crucial to mitigate cyber risks and maintain data privacy. You will provide customer support on DevOps tools, offer timely escalation support, troubleshoot implementation issues, conduct root cause analysis of critical incidents, and develop alternative solutions. Knowledge sharing, best practice dissemination, and team motivation are also key aspects of the role. In terms of team management, you will be responsible for resourcing, talent management, performance management, and employee satisfaction and engagement. This involves forecasting talent requirements, hiring the right resources, ensuring compliance with training standards, enhancing capability, promoting diversity, setting performance goals, and driving engagement initiatives. The performance parameters include 100% error-free onboarding and implementation in continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring, managing service tools, troubleshooting queries, and enhancing team capabilities through training. The candidate must have mandatory skills in DevOps-Terraform and possess 5-8 years of relevant experience.
