Job Summary Position: DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer Location: Remote Experience Required: 45 years Overview: Responsible for creating, hardening, and maintaining development, UAT, and production environments on bare metal and Red Hat Linux systems Involves security, CI/CD, Kubernetes, VMware, cloud infra, observability, and deployment processes, Responsibilities Manage Dev, UAT, and Prod environments on bare metal & Red Hat Linux servers, Harden Linux servers for security compliance (VAPT), Develop CI/CD pipelines from GitHub to OpenShift clusters, Ensure high availability, observability, and alerting for SaaS platform, Automate on-prem deployment of HybridAI InfraMetrics Collector, Work with VMware and Kubernetes APIs for infra automation, Monitor infra performance and implement scaling solutions, Collaborate on API security, access control, and compliance, Participate in Agile processes: sprint planning, code reviews, incident handling, Requirements (Experience & Must-Have Skills) 5+ years in DevOps/infrastructure engineering for enterprise-grade environments, Strong experience with Red Hat Linux and bare metal infrastructure, Expertise in: Linux security hardening (firewalls, SELinux, patching), OpenShift Kubernetes (OCP), CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD), VMware vCenter API & Kubernetes Cluster API, Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, private cloud), Scripting: Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Pulumi, API security (OAuth, JWT, mTLS), CIS benchmarks, Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog, Splunk, AppDynamics, Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), Familiarity with Zero Trust security models, Experience with air-gapped Kubernetes deployments, Use of automated compliance tools (OpenSCAP, Falco, Aqua Security), Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking (VPCs, VPNs, private links), Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management,
