DevOps Engineer - Marketing

Role Overview: You will be joining a globally distributed team at Siemens Digital Industries Software, focused on driving the future of marketing through technology. In the Tech Marketing team, you will work on building experiences that help customers connect with the products and understand how the solutions can address their business needs. Your primary role will involve building and maintaining an automation system for virtual environments used in Global Events, Experience Centers, and POC's. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain an automation system for creating, updating, and patching virtual environments used in various marketing initiatives. - Develop Automation architecture and ensure its implementation. - Benchmark other automation implementations and incorporate best practices. - Deploy updates, fixes, and provide technical support. - Create tools to minimize errors and enhance customer experience. - Integrate software with internal back-end systems. - Conduct root cause analysis for production errors and resolve technical issues. - Design troubleshooting procedures for system maintenance. - Report on the automation flow. Qualifications: - 3 - 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role. - Proficiency in git and git workflows. - Good knowledge of Ruby or Python. - Working experience in AWS Cloud environment. - Problem-solving mindset and collaborative team spirit. - Hands-on experience in implementing automation from scratch.
