The role requires you to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that need to be deployed at the client end while ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. Your responsibilities include understanding product/software requirements, developing software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle, facilitate root cause analysis of system issues, and identify ideas for system performance improvement. Collaborating with functional teams or systems analysts to investigate software requirements and conferring with project managers for software capabilities is also essential. You will be responsible for coding and ensuring optimal software/module development. This involves determining operational feasibility, developing and automating processes for software validation, modifying software to fix errors or adapt it to new hardware, and analyzing information to recommend system installations or modifications. Ensuring error-free code, preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status, and compiling comprehensive documentation and reports are also part of your role. Additionally, you will be involved in status reporting and maintaining customer focus throughout the project execution. Capturing client requirements, taking regular feedback for timely delivery, participating in education and training for best practices, and consulting with engineering staff for software-hardware interfaces are key responsibilities. Documenting solutions, ensuring quality customer interaction, and providing timely responses to customer requests are crucial for successful project outcomes. The performance parameters for this role include continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software with 100% error-free onboarding and implementation, adherence to the release plan, on-time delivery, troubleshooting queries, managing software, and maintaining customer satisfaction. MIS and reporting tasks also require 100% on-time generation of reports.
