Developer (Java Springboot)

As a Developer at SAP Ariba, you have the opportunity to accelerate the innovation and delivery of Ariba cloud products. Collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers, you will work on internet scale level problems and complex business issues utilizing the latest client-side and Ariba Cloud technologies. Your focus should be on enhancing user experience, security, scalability, and delivering results efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** - Write design specifications, implement, and unit test software - Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and QA engineers - Present system improvement ideas and develop POCs **Qualifications Required:** - B.E/B. Tech with 4+ years of experience in Java and related technologies - Proficiency in Java, JDBC, Springboot, and Web Services (REST, oDATA) with emphasis on performance and scalability - Experience in performance testing large-scale cloud deployments and working in an Agile/Scrum environment - DevOps mindset with ownership throughout the development and deployment lifecycle - Knowledge of lean development infrastructure processes like Git, TeamCity, Jenkins, and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices - Exposure to building large-scale applications deployed on public clouds like AWS, AZURE, GCP, etc. **About the Company:** The App Foundation Services (AFS) team at SAP focuses on innovation programs to enhance customer satisfaction and address critical pain points.
