Job Description

In this role as a key member of the Core Banking Base Development and Professional Services team, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and delivery of microservices-based solutions using Scala and Akka. This position is integral to our NextGen transformation initiatives and client-focused professional services projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Have 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Scala development - Demonstrate strong experience with the Akka Framework, including Akka Streams - Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices - Design and develop microservices - Utilize event-driven microservices architectures - Work with GRPC and Protocol Buffers - Utilize Docker containers effectively - Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration - Apply cloud-native application concepts - Utilize tools like Jira, Confluence for project management - Have basic knowledge of Ansible, Terraform for infrastructure management - Understand cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and their IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings - Implement Batch and Bash scripting for automation - Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability - Communicate effectively within the team **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on experience with Python scripting is a plus - Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) - Exposure to integration and unit testing best practices - Deploying apps on AWS - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines - Awareness of message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ This role also values the following certifications: - AWS Certified Developer / Architect - Lightbend Akka Certification Please note that the job is located in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, and Trivandrum.,
