Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Marine Biologist to support our laboratory operations. The candidate will be responsible for conducting zooplankton, phytoplankton, benthic, diversity, fish, and all other biological and marine-related parameter analyses, as well as preparing detailed biological reports for offshore and coastal monitoring projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct zooplankton, phytoplankton, benthic, fish, and other marine biological sample analysis. Perform biodiversity assessments and species identification. Carry out all biological and marine parameter testing as required for projects. Prepare comprehensive biological, ecological, and environmental monitoring reports. Perform field sampling for offshore and coastal monitoring assignments. Maintain sample logs, field data sheets, and laboratory records. Ensure adherence to standard analytical methods (APHA/ISO/NABL where applicable). Maintain laboratory instruments and perform routine calibration and quality checks. Coordinate sampling schedules and project timelines with internal teams. Required Qualifications: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Marine Biology, Zoology, Environmental Science, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in marine biological analysis (freshers with strong knowledge may also apply). Strong understanding of plankton analysis, benthic taxonomy, fish identification, and marine ecology. Experience with microscopy and biological sample preparation. Ability to prepare technical reports independently. Willingness to travel for offshore and coastal field assignments. Skills Required: Strong analytical and species identification skills. Good communication and scientific report-writing skills. Knowledge of marine biodiversity, ecology, and laboratory procedures. Ability to work independently and within a team.
