Desktop and Network Support Engineer - IT

Role Overview: Flex is seeking an Associate Engineer - IT to join our extraordinary team in Coimbatore. As an Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the infrastructure and remote devices in the network. Your typical day will involve following Helpdesk tickets with ITIL Process, installing and maintaining Active Directory Service, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing end user support, and participating in 24/7 on-call rotations as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and support the infrastructure and remote devices in the network. - Follow Helpdesk tickets with ITIL Process and attend incidents and requests logged by users on a day-to-day basis as per SLA. - Install and maintain Active Directory Service and manage user and group accounts in Windows 2008/2012. - Troubleshoot hardware and software related problems, LAN connectivity issues, and PC software applications. - Provide desktop and network support, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and set up and configure new laptops and desktops. - Participate in 24/7 support including weekend system prep and on-call rotations as per business needs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in IT preferred. - Strong experience in PC software applications, MS Operating Systems administration, and L1 Network troubleshooting. - Knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, and software. - Ability to handle encryption for data security and provide extended support to end users.
