Role Overview As a Design Lead at Stratzi.ai, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end design process for client-facing products. Initially an individual contributor, this role offers a clear path to building and leading a design team as the company scales. Key Responsibilities: - Own and drive UI/UX design for web and mobile applications, SaaS dashboards, and product interfaces from concept to developer handoff. - Utilize AI-powered tools such as Figma AI plugins like Magician, Relume, and ChatGPT/Claude for UX copywriting and user flow ideation to accelerate and elevate design output. - Translate client requirements and product briefs into intuitive, visually compelling user experiences. - Establish and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and style guides in Figma. - Collaborate closely with the founder, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals. - Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions. - Maintain design quality and consistency across projects, establishing best practices for the team. - Stay updated with the latest AI-powered design tools, plugins, and workflows and integrate them into the team's process. Must-have Requirements: - 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX and product design. - Expert-level proficiency in Figma including auto-layout, variables, components, prototyping, and dev mode. - Hands-on experience using AI-powered design tools such as Figma AI plugins (Magician, Relume) and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude) for UX writing and workflow optimization. - Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design for web apps, mobile apps, and/or SaaS dashboards. - Understanding of design systems, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and front-end design constraints. - Excellent visual design skills including typography, layout, color theory, and micro-interactions. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-services environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. NICE-TO-HAVE: - Experience with Framer, Webflow, or other AI-assisted prototyping/no-code tools. - Familiarity with designing AI/ML product interfaces for data-heavy, model-driven experiences. - Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) for better collaboration with developers. - Experience in mentoring junior designers or establishing design processes from scratch. - Exposure to motion design or Lottie animations.
