Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer - Automation at Teemer Tech, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of automated systems and solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and service engineers, to deliver high-quality and reliable automation systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in automation technologies, creativity in system design, and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation System Design:
• Laser Machines Related Designs
• Design, develop, and optimize automation systems based on client requirements, including PLC-based control systems, SCADA, robotics, and industrial IoT systems.
• Create detailed electrical and control system designs, including wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and network architectures.
• Select appropriate hardware, components, and software to ensure system functionality, performance, and scalability.
• System Integration & Customization:
• Integrate various automation components such as PLCs, sensors, drives, actuators, and robotics to create cohesive automation systems.
• Customize solutions based on client specifications, considering factors like process requirements, space constraints, and budget limitations.
• Collaborate with the software development team to create or modify control algorithms and HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Technical Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, system schematics, user manuals, and test plans.
• Develop detailed reports for clients and internal stakeholders that clearly explain design decisions and technical specifications.
• Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with sales and project management teams to understand customer needs and translate them into feasible automation solutions.
• Coordinate with the installation and commissioning teams to ensure smooth integration of systems on-site.
• Provide technical support to the service team for troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades.
• Testing and Validation:
• Oversee the testing of automation systems, ensuring they meet performance specifications and operate safely.
• Conduct system validation and debug control systems to ensure seamless functionality and reliability.
• Assist in the commissioning process, verifying system integration and ensuring the solution meets client requirements.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in automation and industrial control systems.
• Actively contribute to the innovation and continuous improvement of the company’s product offerings.
• Suggest improvements to the design process, automation products, and system functionality based on hands-on experience and industry advancements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
