Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with proven experience in design drafting, production planning, project coordination, and piping engineering within the power plant industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and possess a solid foundational knowledge of mechanical systems, boiler and piping layouts, and related industry standards. This role involves managing design processes, production schedules, and coordination to support engineering and project teams.

### Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate technical drawings, layouts, and piping isometrics for mechanical and power plant systems using AutoCAD.

- Develop and manage production plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet project timelines.

- Coordinate with design, production, piping, and site teams to ensure seamless execution and resolve issues.

- Perform basic piping stress analysis and routing for power plant applications.

- Revise drawings and plans based on feedback, modifications, or site requirements.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and company policies in all deliverables.

- Maintain organized records of drawings, production documents, and project progress reports.

- Assist in bill of materials (BOM) preparation and cost estimation as required.

- Participate in site visits to verify designs, measurements, and production alignment.

### Requirements

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of piping design software (e.g., CAESAR II) is a plus.

- Strong understanding of design drafting, production planning, coordination, and power plant piping systems.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage project workflows.

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, PDMS).

- Familiarity with power plant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, IS codes, IBR).

- Previous experience on large-scale power plant or piping projects.
