Design Engineer Sheet Metal & Weldment

Role Overview: As a Design Engineer specialized in sheet metal and weldment at our company, your main responsibility will be the design of sheet metal and welded structures. You will be working at our Coimbatore location following a face-to-face drive in Chennai. Key Responsibilities: - Designing sheet metal and weldment structures - Conducting structural integration - Performing tolerance analysis - Providing mentoring to junior team members Qualification Required: - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production engineering Additional Details: The preferred core competencies for this role include proficiency in UG NX advanced modeling, weldment design, GD&T, and structural integration. Experience or exposure to designing tractor chassis, cab frames, fenders, or structural subframes, as well as ROPS/FOPS design in the domain of tractors, off-highway, or agricultural equipment, will be beneficial.
