Design Engineer - Automotive Plastics

You will be joining SOLIZE India Technologies Pvt. As part of the Automotive Product Development Group focusing on Two-Wheeler Technologies, you will play a crucial role as a Sr. Design Engineer Plastic Design (Automotive & Consumer Products). Your main responsibilities will include participating in the complete product development lifecycle, designing plastic components for 2-wheelers using CATIA, translating customer requirements into manufacturable and cost-effective designs, conducting design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Additionally, you will be expected to keep up with industry trends, new materials, and production processes. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or relevant engineering disciplines and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive plastic design, particularly in two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. Proficiency in CATIA, understanding of design principles, tolerance analysis, and mechanical calculations are essential.
