Design Director (Corporate Branding)

Landor is searching for a Design Director (Corporate) to become a part of our Global Design Studio in India. As a Design Director at Landor, you will be a key player in connecting business strategy to brand, bringing brand experiences to life, and creating brand-led experiences for both talent and customers. You will be part of a team that is united in its drive to make a positive difference and is proudly affiliated with WPP. The ideal Design Director is highly creative, technically skilled, outspoken, and confident. You should be able to assert your ideas, ask critical questions, and collaborate with clients and teams proactively. You will be responsible for challenging briefs, probing deeper into project goals, and ensuring that the final design aligns with both the brand's vision and the consumer's needs. Proficiency in Photoshop is crucial for this role, as you will be required to create detailed mock-ups, refine packaging elements, and produce high-quality visuals efficiently. Additionally, you should be comfortable presenting and discussing concepts across borders, navigating cultural differences, and maintaining clarity and confidence in your communication. Your responsibilities will include providing creative leadership by leading design teams and projects, working with Creative Directors and fellow Design Directors to establish future creative vision, evaluating design options, promoting creative thinking, and partnering with internal teams and clients to deliver transformative work. You should have previous experience in a similar role within a branding/design agency, outstanding technical skills with Adobe Creative Suite, excellent knowledge of creative and design trends, and the ability to build strong working relationships.
