Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. To provide technical support to the plants in term of dies & trimming tools to ensure smooth operations and improvement in die life. 2. To provide design input and technical support to tool design for new product / repeat tooling / dies. 3. Ensuring timely delivery of dies to operations. 4. Collecting the die history and feedback from Die maintenance & Operations. 5. Freezing the concept design with Tool Design team, SPM, and concerned Operation team. 6. Planning and supervising the Tool trial activities to achieve the target as per plan. 7. Conduct die trials and generating feedback & trial report. 8. Study & review FPI report, initiate corrective action for die approval. 9. Producing pilot lot and getting Tool approval from plant Operation / QA. 10. Handover project / repeat dies to operations along with drawing & spares if any. 11. Solving process related issues, rejection reduction into running dies. 12. To ensure all work instruction are present at proper workplace, and they are followed by all members. 13. To ensure TPM, safety, 5'S' at workplace along with periodic review of action taken in view of safety.
