Delivery Associate

As a Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to pick up packages from the warehouse or distribution center, ensuring they are in good condition before departure. You will also be accountable for making timely deliveries to customers within the scheduled timeframe. Efficient route planning is essential to optimize travel routes and ensure prompt deliveries. In your role, you will engage in handling customer interactions with a friendly and professional demeanor while delivering packages. Addressing any customer concerns or queries effectively is crucial. Additionally, you must handle all parcels with care to prevent damage and adhere to safety protocols during transportation. Utilizing GPS or navigation tools will be necessary to reach delivery locations efficiently. You will be expected to use delivery management software or mobile apps to update the status of completed deliveries accurately. Reporting any issues such as delays, accidents, or delivery-related problems to supervisors promptly is part of your responsibilities. Maintaining the delivery vehicle in good condition and keeping track of fuel expenses, if applicable, are vital tasks to ensure smooth operations. This role requires a Full-time, Permanent commitment and offers Provident Fund benefits. The work schedule is during the day shift. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Secondary (10th Pass) education, with proficiency in Hindi. The work location for this role is in Agartala, Tripura, and requires in-person presence.
