JOB SUMMARY The Senior Executive – Business Development will be responsible for lead generation, client acquisition, relationship management, and supporting closure of B2B interior and furniture projects . The role involves working closely with design, estimation, and execution teams to ensure seamless conversion of opportunities into successful projects. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development & Sales Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and referrals Develop strong relationships with corporate clients, architects, interior designers, PMCs, builders, and contractors Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams for proposals, BOQs, and presentations Assist in pricing discussions, negotiations, and deal closures Track and follow up on leads to ensure timely conversion Client Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients Maintain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and coordination Market & Competitor Analysis Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies Share market intelligence with management to support business planning Internal Coordination Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, factory, and execution teams for smooth project delivery Support documentation related to proposals, work orders, and client approvals Reporting & MIS Maintain CRM updates, sales pipeline reports, and lead status Provide regular sales forecasts and progress reports to management KPIs / PERFORMANCE METRICS Number of new leads generated Conversion ratio of leads to orders Revenue achieved vs target Client retention and repeat business Timely follow-up and closure of opportunities FUNCTIONAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Strong communication and negotiation skills Result-oriented and self-motivated Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits Good understanding of B2B / project-based sales Professional approach in dealing with clients and internal teams QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate (Marketing preferred) Experience: 2–5 years of experience in B2B / Project Sales , preferably in Office interiors Modular furniture Fit-outs / Construction / Building materials Existing contacts with architects, interior designers, PMCs, corporate decision-makers will be an added advantage CAREER GROWTH Delite Hitech offers fast-track growth opportunities for high-performing candidates, with scope to move into Manager – Business Development roles.
