We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician with hands-on experience in industrial automation machines, electrical panel wiring, machine installation, testing, and troubleshooting . The technician will be responsible for assembling control panels, wiring field devices, and supporting commissioning and service activities at customer sites. Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Panel Wiring Read and understand electrical schematics, panel GA drawings, and wiring diagrams . Perform control panel wiring involving PLCs, SMPS, relays, contactors, MCBs, sensors, VFDs, servo drives, terminals, etc. Route wires neatly as per industrial wiring standards . Perform quality checks , continuity tests, and insulation tests after panel completion. 2. Automation Machine Wiring Field wiring of sensors, actuators, solenoid valves, motors, encoders, switches, and safety devices . Cable laying, conduit/duct installation, ferruling, crimping, and termination. Assist in assembling automation systems, special purpose machines (SPM), conveyors, pick-and-place units , etc. 3. Troubleshooting & Maintenance Diagnose and resolve issues related to: Electrical wiring Sensors and switches PLC inputs/outputs VFD/Servo alarms Control panel power issues Support breakdown maintenance and root-cause analysis . Replace faulty parts and ensure machine uptime. 4. Testing & Commissioning Assist engineers during machine testing, trial runs, and commissioning . Verify PLC I/O, motor directions, safety interlocks, machine sequence. Maintain test/commissioning reports. Skills & QualificationsMandatory Skills ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics . Strong knowledge of control panel wiring and industrial electrical components . Ability to read Schematic, SLD, Wiring diagrams, PLC I/O list . Experience in troubleshooting automation machines . Additional Preferred Skills Basics of PLC, VFD, Servo drive understanding. Ability to use multimeter, continuity tester, crimp tools, ferrule printer. Knowledge of industrial safety and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO). Experience 0 to 2 years in automation industry / machine building / SPM manufacturing Work Location Maraimalai Nagar, Chengalpattu Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Health insurance Work Location: In person
