The Corporate Finance Research Specialist position at Accenture Research Global Corporate Finance team in Bangalore requires a highly motivated researcher with a strong foundation in financial analysis, exposure to M&A and private equity, and a keen interest in translating complex datasets into actionable business insights. The primary focus of this role is to develop bespoke financial models to inform investment strategies, assess company/industry performance, and analyze market trends. Additionally, the role involves supporting internal Accenture Research teams through deep-dive financial analysis and insightful storytelling. An awareness of emerging technologies, particularly in the realm of Generative AI, and their potential impact on companies, business models, and competitive dynamics is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: - Support research and client engagements in corporate finance areas like private equity, M&A by identifying key trends, benchmarking metrics, and generating actionable investment insights. - Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including ratio benchmarking, valuation modeling, and cross-industry comparisons. - Utilize proprietary and third-party datasets to uncover patterns and trends in financial and market activity. - Collaborate closely with research leads and stakeholders to develop market scans, presentations, and executive-ready insights. - Synthesize complex financial and strategic data into clear, visually compelling deliverables that support high-impact decision-making. Professional & Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and deal mechanics. - Storytelling combined with strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze, visualize, and interpret data. - Strategic problem-solving skills with the capability to turn an issue into a researchable question. - Willingness to learn and adopt new tools and skills, including generative AI (GenAI). - Strong professional qualities like client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience to stress against stretch goals and deadlines. - Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. - Experience in presenting research deliverables to executives. - Enthusiasm to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural team.
