As a global software auditor and inventory analyst within OpenText's Compliance Management Team, you play a crucial role in safeguarding Intellectual Property and contractual rights associated with software products across all business sectors. Your responsibilities include maintaining good communication through telephonic and direct means, utilizing strong analytical and logical skills (proficiency in Excel, SQL, and DBA is essential), demonstrating project management capabilities, familiarity with SAM/Discovery toolsets, in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructures and deployment methods, understanding of Directory Environments (AD, eDir, etc), and proficiency in interpreting standard Software License Agreements and software contract language. To excel in this role, you should possess 3-5 years of experience in Software Asset Management or software auditing, along with expertise in software discovery methodologies and toolsets, auditing best practices, inventory data analysis, and project management. Additional experience in software audits is beneficial. Useful skills for this position include Directory Management Skills (AD, LDAP, eDir), multilingual proficiency, Visual Basic skills, and SQL proficiency.
