Job Description: Radio Technician Position Title: Radio Technician Work Mode: Field-based / Health Camps Location: Multiple locations as per project requirements Reports To: Project Manager Location: Ahmedabad and Surat (Gujarat), Thane, Pune and Nagpur (Maharashtra) Kathua and Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir) or adjacent districts. Duration: Initial contract of six months (extendable as per the performance and requirement) Position Overview The Radio Technician will be responsible for operating hand-held X-ray machines during community health screening camps. The role includes ensuring safe imaging procedures, maintaining equipment functionality, supporting patient flow, and coordinating with the field team for smooth camp operations. Key Responsibilities X-Ray Imaging, Technical Tasks & Reporting Operate hand-held X-ray devices, ensure proper patient positioning, quality imaging, and follow radiation safety standards. Upload images to cloud/AI platforms and perform basic troubleshooting and daily equipment checks Maintain logs, submit daily screening in excel format/image reports, and coordinate effectively with field teams and community staff. Participate in required trainings for device handling, safety, and operational updates. Qualifications & Experience Diploma / Degree in Radiology / X-Ray Technology (DRT/DRTT/X-Ray Technician course). 13 years of experience operating digital X-ray equipment; experience in field camps preferred. Familiarity with portable or hand-held X-ray devices is an advantage. Basic computer skills for uploading and managing digital images. Skills Required Excellent technical understanding of digital radiography. Ability to work in remote field locations and manage high patient loads. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Problem-solving ability and quick decision-making in field environments. Physically fit to handle camp setups and travel extensively. Working Conditions Extensive travel to rural/urban field camps. Outdoor work environment with varying conditions. Compensation: Each Technician shall be paid a monthly compensation. Travel reimbursement for outstation duties shall be payable as per actual expenses subject to the Companys travel policy. Accommodation expenses (for outstation stay) shall be reimbursed in accordance with the Companys travel rules.
