DataStage & Snowflake Developer

As a DataStage & Snowflake Developer with 4+ years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Python and Snowflake's Snow SQL. Your role will involve collaborating with end users to gather data requirements, performing complex data mapping, and developing/maintaining ETL programs to support the enterprise data warehouse. Additionally, you will develop SQL scripts to load data from source systems and ensure the accuracy of data in target tables through the ELT process. Furthermore, you will be involved in the development of scripts using Unix, Python, and other tools for loading, extracting, and transforming data. In case of production issues in Data Warehouses, you will assist in tasks such as data reloading, transformations, and translations. Moreover, you will play a key role in developing Database Design and Reporting Design based on Business Intelligence and Reporting requirements. It would be advantageous if you possess in-depth knowledge of DataStage and Snowflake, as well as familiarity with the ETL process to ensure smooth transfers and storage of data. Proficiency in scripting skills using Python, exposure to job scheduling/monitoring environments such as Control-M, and experience with Big Data tools like Hadoop and Spark, along with cloud migration expertise, are considered valuable assets.
