Database Associate/Analyst

You will be based in Bangalore and your role will involve utilizing your strong proficiency in SQL and its variations across popular databases. You will be responsible for writing stored procedures and triggers, as well as optimizing large and complex SQL statements. Your expertise should include experience with modern relational databases and knowledge of best practices in relational database management. Additionally, you should be capable of configuring database engines, orchestrating clusters, and planning resource requirements based on high-level specifications. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the development and optimization of in-application SQL statements and procedures. You will be tasked with ensuring the performance, security, and availability of databases, as well as handling common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, and migration. Profiling server resource usage, optimizing as needed, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, along with at least 4 years of professional experience. A SQL certification is preferred.,
