Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL jobs using Teradata and related tools. Your role will involve writing optimized and complex SQL and BTEQ scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Additionally, you will work with Teradata utilities such as FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump, and TPT for bulk data loading and transformations. Analyzing data issues, performing data quality checks, and tuning performance will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams to gather requirements, participation in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of ETL solutions are key aspects of the role. Supporting existing ETL processes and resolving production issues as necessary while adhering to project timelines with high quality and minimal supervision will also be essential.
