Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data models and pipelines using Azure Synapse and MS SQL to support analytics, reporting, and performance needs. Your role will involve implementing scalable ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data into the data warehouse (DWH), ensuring data integrity and consistency. Additionally, you will use Python for data processing, automation, and analytics, following best practices for maintainability and performance. Managing tasks and progress using Jira will be crucial to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, production-ready data solutions aligned with business goals. Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Supporting BI teams with data readiness for tools like Power BI and validating data accuracy and completeness will be part of your day-to-day tasks. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in developing and maintaining data models and pipelines in Azure environments, with strong proficiency in MS SQL and Python for data engineering and analytics tasks. - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes. - Familiarity with Jira for agile project and task management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and a delivery-oriented mindset, with a focus on producing high-quality, scalable solutions. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively gather requirements and provide updates.
