Job Description

Role Overview: As a Service Desk Manager at Wipro Limited, your primary responsibility will be to oversee help desk support to ensure timely and effective resolution of end user problems. You will play a key role in improving productivity at ServiceDesk by implementing strategies to reduce incidents and enhance self-heal and self-help techniques. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to assess support needs and respond to customer service concerns. Training and guiding support specialists to effectively utilize help desk problem-management process will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee help desk support to ensure timely and effective resolution of end user problems - Improve productivity at ServiceDesk by focusing on reducing incidents and implementing self-heal and self-help techniques - Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to assess support needs and respond to customer service concerns - Train and guide support specialists to effectively utilize help desk problem-management process - Establish and monitor service level targets/benchmarks and measure performance against those benchmarks - Track and analyze support calls and information requests to identify areas of need and create strategies to enhance end-user capacity - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including operations guidelines, procedures, inventory checklists, deployment guides, budget information, and training guides - Measure and report on unit performance via metrics and indicators of service level activity and customer satisfaction - Manage the inventory, support, and maintenance of end user technology assets - Facilitate equipment, services, and software purchases and implementation - Conduct research and make recommendations on hardware and software products, services, protocols, and standards - Recommend changes or enhancements in available information technology or equipment - Engage in ongoing research of emerging trends and new technologies - Participate in planning, policy, and decision-making discussions involving information management projects - Provide occasional technical support and best practice advice for offsite Corporation events - Research and implement special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: - Mandatory Skills: Technology (Alight IT) - Experience: 8-10 Years Reinvent your world.
