Data Engineer - SQL

The Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer/Lead position in Sector 142, Noida, requires 3 - 10 years of experience and is a Full-time role available On-site/Hybrid. As a senior member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing principles, and real-time and batch data integrations. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers, defining best practices, and contributing to the overall data strategy. Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing scalable data integration and data pipeline solutions using Azure cloud services, designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT processes, building and automating data workflows and orchestration pipelines, writing and maintaining Bash scripts for automation, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements, and implementing best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and data governance. Furthermore, you will configure, maintain, and monitor integration jobs, lead code reviews, mentor data engineers, and stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance the team's effectiveness. Required qualifications for this role include a B.Tech / B.E. degree, a minimum of 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure-based solutions, proficiency in SQL and Python, experience in developing pipelines using Airflow and automation scripts using Bash, and hands-on experience with Azure technologies like Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks. Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a solid understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL/ELT methodologies, and data pipeline architecture are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with multi-tenant SaaS data solutions, familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and mentoring other engineers in technical decision-making.,
