• Scala, Java, SQL
• Strong BigQuery and Data Warehousing experience
• Data Modeling concepts and hands-on implementation
• Hands-on Apache Spark / Spark Jobs
• Airflow – DAG development and workflow orchestration
• Experience building end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Performance optimization – Spark jobs and BigQuery queries
• Data Quality & Troubleshooting – production pipeline monitoring and issue resolution

Good to Have / Advantage

• GCP – Team primarily works on GCP; exposure to BigQuery, Dataproc, and GCS is preferred
• Apache Iceberg
• Hands-on Hive Iceberg migration
• Medallion Architecture – Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers
• PySpark
• Partitioning & Clustering – BigQuery/Spark
• CI/CD & Git
• Monitoring & Logging – Airflow/Spark
