Data Engineer (Microsoft BI)

As a Data Engineer (Microsoft BI) at our company, your primary role will involve designing, developing, and supporting BI solutions using Microsoft BI tools. You will be responsible for working on data pipelines, reporting, and visualization to ensure high-quality delivery in an investment banking environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions utilizing SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI. - Build and optimize SQL queries for handling large and complex datasets effectively. - Develop and support ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Create reports and interactive dashboards catering to business and regulatory requirements. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient deployment processes. - Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers to deliver effective solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical and data-related issues to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills & Experience: - 4+ years of experience in the Microsoft BI stack comprising SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI. - Proficiency in SQL query optimization and database performance enhancement techniques. - Hands-on experience with ETL design and development to manage data effectively. - Exposure to Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes and familiarity with Agile methodology. - Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Nice to Have (Optional): - Knowledge of Python, PySpark, Airflow, or cloud technologies like Kubernetes and microservices. - Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Cognos can be advantageous.,
