Data Engineer / BI Developer

As a Data Engineer / Business Intelligence Developer at Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI), you will have the opportunity to contribute to both data infrastructure and business decision-making. You will create and implement data models to enhance data accessibility and consistency, enforce data governance policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and refine data requirements. In terms of business intelligence development, you will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools like Power BI and Pyramid Analytics. You will be responsible for creating effective data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making. Your expertise in writing efficient and effective DAX scripts will be crucial in meeting specific business requirements and translating them into actionable BI solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business objectives, provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, and actively participate in Agile methodologies to ensure successful project delivery. Your communication and collaboration skills will be essential in working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to optimize strategies and decision-making. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in data engineering, ETL pipeline development, and managing data warehouses. Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Pyramid Analytics, SSIS, and Power Automate is required. Strong knowledge of data modelling, data governance, and data quality management is essential, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, along with experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and knowledge of SQL, DAX, or other data-related languages.
