This is a hybrid role at Bluevine. The company prides itself on its collaborative culture, which is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline. **What You'll Do:** - Manage cloud-based databases on AWS. - Monitor database infrastructure for availability, reliability, and performance. - Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in real-time. - Design scalable data architectures aligned with business needs. - Support ETL processes and data streaming (CDC) in AWS. - Optimize database performance and minimize downtime. - Collaborate with IL and US teams on daily operations. - Work with DevOps, NOC, and R&D teams on procedures and workbooks. - Perform routine maintenance (upgrades, user management, backups). **What We Look For:** - 5+ years of expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL), Datawarehouse DBs, and data lakes on AWS Cloud. - Strong understanding of Data streaming and/or Change Data Capture (CDC) methodologies and implementation. - Hands-on experience in observability tools such as Airflow, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, and New Relic. - Experience in scripting and automation using Python. - Understanding Graph DBs. - Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines, AWS Lambda, and Terraform (not a must). - Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across global teams. **Benefits & Perks:** - Excellent group health coverage and life insurance. - Stock options. - Hybrid work model. - Meal allowance. - Transportation assistance (terms and conditions apply). - Generous paid time off plan, Holidays. - Company-sponsored mental health benefits. - Financial advisory services for both short- and long-term goals. - Learning and development opportunities to support career growth. - Community-based volunteering opportunities.,
