Production Shift Engineer - PE dahej 8 - 12 years INR 4.0 - 7.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role & responsibilities - Safety - Foster culture of Safety and quality amongst the production Team members. - Lead and drive 5S and Operational Excellence related initiatives for production funcitions. - Ensure that all manditory safety trainings has been imparted to Prodction team in a timely manner. - Responsible for ensuring 100 % compliance under applicable statutory requirements /laws for production function. - Vision - Clarity, focused, ethical and materialize business goals as per companys policy /guideline - Expectations - Bachelor degree with at least 8-10 years / Diploma Mechanical with at least 10-12 years experience in related manufacturing process. - Plan and execute daily production targets by monitor routine process parameters in order to achieve consistent product Quality in safe manner. Lead Team for carrying out RCA/ Problem solving tools for any operations related abnormalities / deviations in order to achieve higher efficiency. - Accountability - To meet the production volumes by ensuring, safety, quality and applicable compliances - Responsbile for ensuring all equipmnets critical steps have been covered under SPC ( statistical process control). - Driving continual improvement Projects / initiavies like (cost, time, resouces) and the progress for same. - Ensure efficient production operation activities by proactively collaborating with cross function teams like Maintained, Quality, and Process etc. - Prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), related Work Instructions for operation activities, and impart training Production Supervisor and operators. - Documentation control as per defined operational / Quality guidelines. - Identify the needs and raise Purchase Requisitions for routine / non-routine purchases of production department. - Support to operation manager for preparing annual CPEX/ OPEX budget and continuously monitor the same to keep it within the define budget. - Analyze shutdown activities, long downtime, identify gaps of learning and implement the improvement plan - Verify departmental vendors bills and submit to Finance team for ensuring timely payment. - Carry out RCA on customer complaint and there by implementing corrective action, plan to avoid reoccurrence. - Review production and inventory in ERP system with 100% accuracy. - Extend and collaborate with respective stakeholders for carrying out New Product Development trails at site. - Lead internal and external audits for production function and ensure closer of any findings within defined timelines. - Mentor and Teacher - Shift Management and provide adquate support and guidance to team in order to ensure flowless production activities round the clock. - Assess annual performance management of the team and there by support the people development intiatives by collobarating with HR. - Transition - Own self-development and work with team for their development to achieve business results - Communications - Effective communication, Analytical, Good Interpersonal relationship, Multitask oriented, High Self structured and Proactive. - Administration - Organization: motivate and retain the best Talent - Business Skills: Top line, productivity, efficiency - System Knowledge: MS Office, SAP/ ERP - Collaboration: Work closely with Process/ maintenance/ Quality etc., - Results Driven: Planning, risk management, operational understanding. - Personal Qualities: Assertive, Creative, Passionate, High Energy Driv - Know-how: - Sound knowledge of handing production in continuous manufacturing operations. - Knowledge of ISO 9001/ 14001/ OHSAS management system including internal audits. - Lean manufacturing, Six sigma tools, and 7 QC tools. - Exposure to Minitab or equivalent Statistical tools. - Sound Trouble shooting skills / hands on experience on problem solving tools / approaches like (RCA, WHY WHY Analysis etc.). - Good Interpersonal Skills / Communication skills - Strong Planning / Execution Skills - Stakeholder Management Preferred candidate profile - Education: - Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 10-12 years of experience or - Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience - Preferably from Chemical / Petrochemical / Polymer / Engineering Industries. - Professional experience: - Production Management skills: Data analysis, manufacturing process understanding, presentation skill, problem solving, ability to work as per deadlines etc. - Operational Excellence: Lean, 5S, Statutory compliance, Legal compliance
