As an Experienced CAD Engineer at Mechknow Cool Systems (part of Mechknow Industries Pvt. Ltd.) in Hyderabad, you will be an integral part of our product development team focusing on expanding our premium commercial refrigeration product line. Your role will involve developing 3D CAD models using SolidWorks for commercial refrigeration units. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating 2D manufacturing drawings, DXF flat patterns, BOMs, and exploded views. In this position, you will also be tasked with generating piping isometrics, electrical schematics, and fabrication guides. A key aspect of the role will be integrating components such as Danfoss compressors, Carel controllers, LU-VE heat exchangers, and other branded elements into the designs while ensuring compliance with IEC 60335-2-89:2019/A2 standards for A3 refrigerants like R290. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal design engineering within the refrigeration and cabinet manufacturing industry. Proficiency in SolidWorks or an equivalent 3D CAD software, as well as drafting and manufacturing documentation, is essential. An understanding of fabrication processes, stainless steel welding, and PU foaming will be beneficial. Moreover, familiarity with refrigeration system design and component integration is required.
