As a D365 SCM professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customizations using X++ while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Your role will involve working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will customize and extend standard D365 F&O modules such as Finance and Supply Chain. Additionally, you will develop and maintain integrations with external systems using OData, REST APIs, and other technologies. Your responsibilities will also include performing unit testing, debugging, and optimizing custom code, as well as investigating and resolving bugs as 3rd line support tasks. You will participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior developers, create and maintain technical documentation, support deployment activities, and offer post-go-live support. It is essential to stay updated with the latest D365 F&O features, updates, and Microsoft best practices. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in X++ development and Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O. - Proven experience in full-cycle D365 F&O implementations and upgrades. - Strong understanding of D365 architecture, data entities, and extension frameworks. - Expertise in event handlers, chain of command, and custom services. - Experience with LCS, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps. - Solid grasp of SQL Server and data management in D365. - Knowledge of Power Platform and Azure integrations is a plus. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with core business processes in Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Inventory. - Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. - Understanding of workflows, business logic, and user roles in D365. - Experience in facilitating workshops to gather and document user needs and translating them into business processes and a product backlog.
