Cytogenetic

• Prepare and process biological specimens (blood, bone marrow, amniotic fluid, solid tissues, etc.) for cytogenetic analysis.
• Perform chromosome analysis using techniques such as G-banding, FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization), and microarray.
• Analyze karyotypes and identify chromosomal abnormalities.
• Accurately record, interpret, and report findings according to laboratory protocols.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Collaborate with pathologists, geneticists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Participate in laboratory proficiency testing and continuing education.
• Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records and documentation.
