Cyber Security Lead Analyst - SOC

Role Overview: As a SOC L3 (Lead Cyber Security Analyst) at the GTS Security SOC team, you will play a key role in supporting India and global regional needs. Your primary objective will be to manage the security strategy for all RESG/GTS in terms of technical standards, processes, and tools, covering various cross-functional functions within the company and its subsidiaries across all regions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all high priority & Critical Security Incidents, including end-to-end incident management. - Provide support, assistance, and guidance to the L1/L2 team members in managing complex issues and incidents. - Lead and engage in the study/POC of Tools and technologies aligning with the security roadmap. - Become an expert in 1 or 2 key security technologies/tools globally and be part of the global SOC L3/Experts. Example areas include Threat Hunting, Forensic Analysis, IPS, EDR, DLP, etc. - Contribute to the risk detection management approach, consistent with the SG MITRE Matrix approach and other industry-standard relevant approaches. - Provide analysis support for complex investigations and improve reaction procedures, runbook definitions, and enhancements. - Support analyses on cybersecurity technical plans, analysis approach, and incident management. - Identify different security tools and technologies to enhance security operations" effectiveness. - Identify security gaps, develop mitigation strategies, implement them, and track progress until closure. - Collaborate with various regional SOC and CERT teams on security aspects and incidents when required. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in cybersecurity and incident management. - Strong knowledge and expertise in security technologies/tools such as Threat Hunting, Forensic Analysis, IPS, EDR, DLP, etc. - Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and approaches. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Strong communication and leadership skills.
